On November 29,2001, Ham Radio lost another one of its old timeers. I like to think of him as a Pioneer in radio. Licensed in 1934 he maintained the highest standards of ham radio broadcasting. He held several calls. The most well known W8LKM and KS8B. For those who have never seen Jerry but perhaps have heard him on the Buzzards Roost Net, please click on his picture below. That was Jerry. For those who didn't know him, you missed out on knowing a great gentleman who was most talented and wise. This web page is our tribute to a great friend.

6/19/1916 to 11/29/2001 Jerry KS8B, runs the Buzzards Roost Net on Tuesdays. He is always ready to help anyone. His experience with radio is unsurpassed. As a retired Attorney, We call him the Counseler. Check in with him on Tuesday, 3930 khz, at 5:00 P.M., Eastern Time.

On November 29,2001, Jerry passed away. He was a friend of everyone and admired by all. He can not be relplaced. His words of wisdom and his cheerful voice will linger with us for ever. He will always be net control for the Buzzards Roost Net on Tuedays.
