Hell-o, my name is Cindy..I live in Asheville, North
Carolina which is located on the western side
of this most beautiful state. I have lived here for almost nine years..
I am originally from Michigan, where I resided most of my life, except for eight years in the
60's when my family relocated to
Southern California. We moved back to
Michigan in 1968, soon after I graduated
from Tustin High School.
After moving back to Michigan..I worked at a bank and veterinary hospital..married in 1973..
had two wonderful sons in 1977 & 1978 and then became another statistic of
divorce in 1979. I began a career with Michigan Natl Bank in 1980 and spent the next fourteen years working at the bank and being a single Mom.
In August 1994, since both of my sons were residing with their Dad. I decided to make a drastic life change and resigned from my job at the bank, packed up my belongings and relocated to North Carolina.
Asheville is a a wonderful city and I really enjoy living here.
There are so many interesting places and events to see and attend, in this beautiful mountain area.
I also work full time, and have been a customer service associate for eight years
at a very..very busy Big K-Mart
here in Asheville. I enjoy working in customer service because I like helping and interacting with people!!!
In my spare time, I am usually on the internet
with either Webtv/MSNtv or my laptop computer where I enjoy working on my homepage, digital camera help pages, photo albums and other projects..
I also like bidding and buying on eBay auctions.
On my days off in nice weather, I enjoy being outdoors taking pictures of our beautiful North Carolina scenery!!!!!
My other favorite pastime on my days off is shopping shopping and more shopping!!!!!
My son Ryan, age 26..enjoys being single..and had been living and working in Grand Rapids Michigan..He relocated to Chicago, Ill. to work for Clear Channel Radio as a web designer in March 2002..unfortunately it did not work out and he has recently started working for American Eagle.com as a computer programmer and really likes his new job. Never having lived out of Michigan before..he has learned to spead his wings..on this new adventure..Now after living and working in Chicago this past year..he is really enjoying the many interesting and fun experiences of a big city..
Ryan has always had a natural talent for drawing and has been writing and illustrating his own novel. He is also an avid collector of Transformers and has created an excellent website for other Transformer enthusiasts ..Seibertron.com
Shaun 24, graduated in May 2001..with a degree in Automotive Technology from Ferris State University..located in Western Michigan..In July 2001 he relocated to Southern California with his girlfriend Sara..who is also graduate of Ferris State.
Shaun is now employed with Toyota Corp..and Sara..with the Big Brother Sister organization in Social work..
They are truly enjoying the experiences of living and working in Southern California..
and are now planning their wedding on June 21, 2003..which will be held at Newport Beach in Southern California.
Since we are not able to see one another very often we keep in touch with frequent e-mails and phone calls. I am also able to share photos with them of our family..the beautiful mountain scenery of North Carolina and my vacations with digital photography.
My Mom is retired, and after living in Florida for quite a few years..decided to also relocate to North Carolina about eight years ago, she lives in Hendersonville which is about 25 miles east of Asheville. She enjoys her senior
friends and activities..and has also become quite active with Webtv/MSNtv and the Wholesome Valley Senior Newsgroup. She became a Great-Grandmother for the first time in September 2002 when my niece here in Asheville..had a baby boy..
My sister..husband and their children
also live in the Asheville area. She is a very talented Fabric Artist and Milner and has her own small business enterprise and shop located behind her home..
My brother who was also living here in North Carolina..sold his home and
business last year
and with his ladyfriend went off on an indefinite sailing/traveling adventure..they are currently living on their sailboat and working in Key West Florida..
My Dad, prefers to be in a warm
climate and loves the beach, and now lives in
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
I have a nephew and niece living in Central Florida..and a niece living in Rome, Italy who is employed as a Nanny..
Four years ago I purchased my first digital camera and have become very knowlegeable and involved in digital photography. With all the natural beauty here in
the majestic mountains of Western North
Carolina, I am able to capture
the awesome and most picturesque mountain
scenery to share with friends and family.
My favorite places to take pictures are
the colorful gardens, streams and surrounding
mountains at the North Carolina Arboretum,
located here in Asheville and the peaceful
quiet and serene setting of Lake Tomahawk, in
nearby Black Mountain.. These are very special and scenic places that always provide an array of mountain beauty to photograph.
These photo albums were created with Webtv/MSNtv Pagebuilder, and are some of my favorite and most memorable photos.
I am now able to fully utilize the processing
and editing capabilities of my digital camera with my IBM laptop computer, Iomega zip drive, Iomega FotoShow and photo editing software.

everybody who is interested in digital cameras

I have had my Webtv/MSNtv for over four years and have become acquainted with many

We come together, from all over the USA to
