This is Destiny, reporting for a bleak day in the history of a little page known as A-Chan's Page of Personal Works. Maybe you remember it. Maybe you don't. About a year ago, it opened and attracted (amazingly) a few fans. It's webmistress, A-Chan, continued to run it happily, although sometimes stressfully. It ran a total of 12,000+ hits over its prime.
A few months back she got a brilliant idea to let a few of her friends in on the fame, as they deserved the spotlight just as much. They christened their new creation "Cyber-Eden". It attracted the same amount of new fans as the original page did. And, even after a total page redo and a name change, the newly-named Destiny endured the stress of a webpage with a semi-large fanbase. It accumulated about 1,900+ hits over a couple months.
After a bit of thinking, Destiny decided if she could help two of her friends, why not help the world? She would open the page to the public and anyone who wanted some space. Things were going smoothly, beautifully, even, when WHAM! The storybook ride was over; the dreaded Real Life intervened.
Now I, Destiny, have no more time to run a webpage. I have a whole barrage of Real Life and non-artistic problems to tackle. A webpage isn't included. I know it's horrible; I know it's a crime. I feel horrible about it, too, but unless there is some brave soul out there who wants to take over the page, A-Chan's Page of Personal Works i.e. Cyber-Eden i.e. Apollo's Apprentices is dead.
I'm horribly sorry I have no more time to run it, I'm horribly sorry the new version of Sailor Cecil will not meet the public eye, and I'm mostly sorry the new artists never got a chance to showcase their talent.
If you are interested in carrying the torch, please, please, PLEASE, mail me and let me know.
Until then, perhaps we will someday again cross paths when the beast of bad fate has stopped looming in my way.
