Polykarbon
Polykarbon is one of the sites I've seen most cited as an online place for beginners to learn some good techniques for drawing in a Japanese comic style. Many of the works in the galleries show a heavy influence of Masamune Shirow, the reknowned creator of Ghost in the Shell.
Notes: Go here to get some good comic and manga drawing education.

Baka Neko
This is a site dedicated to manga-style art and, more importantly, teaching others things about the creation of manga-style art. A number of good solid tutorials can be found here, as well as galleries of the creators' own works.
Notes: Go here to get some good manga-drawing education.

Create FREE graphics at FlamingText.com Flaming Text
This is a very cool place to get nifty graphics stuff for your web site, if you don't have the software tools or skills to make them yourself. Banners, animations, buttons and more! Weeeee!

Name Wizard
So, you've gotten some characters brainstormed, created, visualized, even drawn or written out on paper, but you're terrible at coming up with names? Then this site is for you! Get names for boys, girls, or even gender-neutral names. It's great for those of us who don't trust ourselves to come up with cool names.
Notes: Okay, so, it's alctually called Baby Name Wizard, and the creativity-free cuteness of the graphic design might be a little off-putting, but the site itself is still quite useful.

RPGamer and Gameforms
RPGamer place has been around for quite some time, and they really know what they're doing. Posting almost daily news updates about role-playing style games for everything from the GameBoy Color to your suped-up just-for-gaming PC! This is also a great place to find pictures, screenshots, reviews and help files for just about every RPG that gets made or every was made.

This stuff, plus daily Q&A, fan art and editorials, makes RPGamer a must-read for RPG fans.
Notes: RPGamer is Cyberpumpkin's personal choice for general console RPG gaming news and updates.

The Anime Web Turnpike
The Turnpike is probably the best-known, most well-established place for finding information, pictures, sounds, reviews, fan-sites and other stuff pertaining to anime. It's been around for almost 10 years, which is really saying something for any website!
Notes: The general anime & manga resource
