Zener diode amplifier circuit. In each part of this figure there is a connection point at the top and another one at the bottom. Each circuit will replace a zener diode which has only two terminals. Part A. The top terminal connects to the cathode of a zener diode and also to the collector of an NPN transistor. The anode of the zener connects to the base and the emitter connects to the bottom terminal. Part B. The top terminal connects to the cathode of a zener diode and also to the collector of an NPN transistor. The anode of the zener connects to the cathode of another zener. The anode of the second zener connects to the base and the emitter connects to the bottom terminal. Part C. The top terminal connects to the cathode of a zener diode and also to the collector of an NPN transistor. The anode of the zener connects to the base and the emitter connects to the cathode of another zener diode and also to the collector of another NPN transistor. The anode of the zener connects to the base and the emitter connects to the bottom terminal. End verbal description.
