ABD's Breakup I just heard that Cheng is leaving to start off a new group with Wilson. Best of luck to them. Good thing about us is that there is no initiation or one to get out. If you feel like leaving, you may do so. We're not going to force you to stay, we're going to really try to persuade you to stay, but if you feel that you don't feel the ABD magic anymore, then you have to do what you need to do. So like Tupac said, " My homies might squabble, but we won't fall down ". We have our incredible highs and humbling lows as a group and I wouldn't have it any other way. We're sad to see them go, but we know that they left for an important reason and we respect their decisions even though we might not understand those reasons completely.
***This is what I originally wrote a year ago, (12/00 ish)*** " I thought I'd have something worthwhile to say about this subject, but I really don't. LD was just a name for a dance group for a one time only event for aypal at Oacc. Without the aypal connection and the preference to not perform at Oacc, it's better to start up anew with a new name instead of LD, that would only bring back memories of something that has long passed. Sorry Lupe, but even if it is saved, would it still be worth? Like when you say we should really do this again, but don't mean it and the other person knows that you're not gonna do it again, that you're just being nice. LD sounds like an extention of ABD also." If your memories are already perfect, why would you want to go back and change it? Life is about going forward, not looking back because the hardest part of growing up is letting go of things. No one has talked about LD for about two years, so it's only now ok to bring up this subject.
