I put this out on Usenet shortly before Mother's Day, 1999, partly as a memorial to this pathetic woman and the suffering she must have undergone, as one who would never fulfill her domestic life; partly for impact --to show how a life could be ruined by improper use of mind control, to show depths to which predators in this geographical area could stoop, to underline dangers. The Cleveland Plain Dealer is Cleveland's largest newspaper.
THE MIND CONTROL OF DELORES HEJAZI OF PARMA, OHIO (USA)
A mind control story for Mother's Day: Text of article from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Friday, June 28, 1991 (page 4-B) (My comments in brackets [brown type] ):
PSYCHIATRIST TESTIFIES AT MOM'S HEARING
by Karen Farkas
PLAIN DEALER REPORTER
A Parma [Ohio] woman charged in the fatal stabbing of one daughter and the wounding of two other daughters believes the government controls the world and is bombarding her and her family with laser beams, a psychiatrist testified yesterday.
Dr. Dallas D. Erdmann of the Cuyahoga County Court Psychiatric Clinic testified yesterday that Delores Hejazi suffers from chronic paranoid schizophrenia [Isn't that a classic?] and delusions that render her incompetent to stand trial.
On Jan. 30, Hejazi, 34, allegedly plunged a 10-inch butcher knife into the chest of her daughter, Jennifer, 10, at their home on Daleside Dr. Another daughter, Katie, 2, was stabbed in the neck and a third daughter, Sarah, 8, was stabbed in the chest and stomach.
Hejazi allegedly also stabbed herself in the stomach and nearly severed her hand from her arm.
Erdmann told Common Pleas Judge Thomas J. Pokorny that while Hejazi understood court proceedings, she was not competent to stand trial because she could not help her lawyers in preparing her defense. She is charged with one count of aggravated murder and two counts of attempted murder.
"She has a number of delusions, and she discussed the concerns she has had over the past two years of being repeatedly attacked and tortured by government agencies, beam weaponry and laser technology," said Erdmann, who examined her for 4 1/2 hours over two days. "Other forms of torture included sexual recordings [i.e. electronic rapes, an invariably favorite torture where female victims are concerned] and death recordings, and she and her children suffered laser burns and joint pains."
Erdmann said Hejazi told him the laser attacks continued while she was jailed and that she noticed pinholes in her sheets that she said were caused by lasers.
Erdmann said he believed Hejazi's mental illness began about three years ago. She was hospitalized at Parma Community Hospital in September 1989 and at Deaconness Hospital in July 1990, he said. Hejazi's unwillingness to understand her illness kept her from weighing the possibilities of her defense, Erdmann said, including pleading not guilty by reason of insanity, which she has refused to allow her lawyers to do.
Jeffry Kelleher, Hejazi's lawyer, said Hejazi believed giant computers controlled the world and that the government was out to destroy her because her research had uncovered the government's plot.
When asked what relation her fantasies had to the events of Jan. 30, Kelleher said, "There is evidence it was an altruistic act." [i.e. to protect her and her children from further pain and suffering]
Kelleher said his client wanted a jury trial so she could tell the world what was happening. She has written numerous letters over the years to the Pentagon, government officials, television journalist Geraldo Rivera and others, alleging a government conspiracy.
[The perpetrators frequently enjoy making their victims sweat over constant reporting and letter writing--knowing victims are invariably helpless and unable to convince others. They seem to take a sadistic delight in making victims waste their time and effort, confident of their control over the system and popular opinion. Expending such effort is one way they are able to grind the will of their victim down. One author described the control of popular opinion and the mass media as the orchestration of a "mighty Wurlitzer" propaganda machine, so efficient the truth hasn't got a chance. It is pretty absolute over those dumb yokels. They are confident by now of their ability to get away with any kind of murder and whitewash it to their advantage.]
Erdmann said that if Hejazi was confined and required to take anti-psychotic medications and other drugs, she could become competent to stand trial in a year.
Assistant Prosecutor George Lonjak said he believed Hejazi was competent and should be tried.
Pokorny will continue the hearing next week.
[In conclusion, a victim stands a much greater chance of being institutionalized than a criminal perpetrator, currently--thanks to the commitment to secrecy. Wouldn't it be great to reverse those odds? The perpetrators are people who often murder for the thrill of blood sport, who delight in their victims' anguish. The totally amoral kind.]
