Will E Tell: Born
1972, resides in Melbourne. Ran away from home at
age 16 and started bussing at Chasers.
He really wanted to dj there so when
his Mum found him and asked him
to come home he told her he would, on
one condition- that she buy him
two turntables, a mixer, an amp and
speakers. And she did! A year later
he was djing at Chasers and then Maze
and Pure. He is now probably one
of Melbourne's best known djs and his
name appears on almost every flyer
alongside internationals such as Carl
Cox, Jeff Mills, Luke Slater, Steve
Stoll, Damon Wild, Laurent Garnier and
heaps more. If he's not behind
the decks you can find him behind the counter
at Hardware Records. He recently
mixed one side of DJ Excursions Vol. 3
along with Brisbane's Kazu Kimura
which was launched at the first Paranoid
party 98. He's played at too many
parties to mention, but he can usually be
seen and heard at Xsive on Fridays
as well as whatever party happens to be on
Saturday.
HMC: HMC aka Cam or House Master C
became involved with the
Adelaide scene about 12 years ago.
He put Adelaide on the map then stormed
the rest of the world with rave
reviews for his album Phreakin' and
international appearances alongside
the likes of Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier,
Josh Wink, Cajmere and Masters
at Work. He is currently playing with The
Clinic run by Kylie Mansfield.
He is also launching his own twin labels
releasing techno through Data Music
and house through Rhythm Tracks. He
has a new EP out called Liquid
Funk. Played Hardware 10, Redheads, Every
Picture 17.
