NEW YORK, May 14 - It was reported from the Shashamanne Land Grant Administration's legal New York EWF representatives that great progress has been made in the area of medical supplies and sending qualified and committed people to reinforce the legitimate aspirations of the Diasporic peoples of the Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated. "After many years of in-fighting and divisions people are coming togather, little by little" revealed one SLG official yesterday, "We look forward to working together and doing real works, in real time, for real progress." It was also reported that several nurses of the LOJ and members of upstate EWF locals were preparing to spend 6 months to one year in Ethiopia and to help Dr. Gladstone Robinson, the official land grant administrator in re-establishing the SHARP program. This program is nearly 30 years old yet due to the lack of order and various problems amongst certain groups, this project was put on the back burner until the appointment of Woizero Tehetena "Mimi" Girma and Ras Iadonis to the "Power-Of-Attorney" to support the legitamite aspirations of the "Black Peoples of the world" according to the "will of His Majesty".
A list will be made public in the next few days outlining the various medical supplies that have been gathered and what is still needed. In a related matter, the waterpumps project proposed by LOJ previous to the appointment of February 4th 2003 will be given to Rastafari LOJ engineers and EWF members in the Virgin Islands, WI who will be supervising and drafting proposals to be submitted to the local and Addis Abeba authorities who have expressed great interest and hopes of improvement in the Administration and Development of the land grant given to the "Black Peoples of the world". A serious warning is being issued to those "settlers" sellling inheritance lands as well as to others who seek to buy such lands in violation of the grant. "We hope to have more people on the ground to supervise and to help us in the legal administration and legitamite aspirations of the diaspora" said one member in Ethiopia who is once again interested and active. "Just to know that real works are being done is so crucial to the moral of the Rasta community and black people in general" he said. This member is also a Twelve Tribes of Israel member and is hopeful in a better working relationship between the TTI and the SLG Authorities. No mention was made of the Nurses of Israel who are also seeking to establish their "own" hospital and clinic. "If possible," the unnamed source went on to say, "we all should be under one umbrella. Perhaps if progress continues as it is going and accountability becomes real - we all can work togather." This feeling is a general sentiment of many even though it is still very difficult to publically say these things because many have yet to accept the recent appointments.
Many alleged "EWF" groups and "locals" still claiming to be "in-charge" have totally ignored the efforts of the new POA authority in violation of the will of His Majesty and the intent of the constitition and by-laws. Some have continued to spread malicious rumours and lies about the intents and qualifications of the new EWF legal administrators on the internet and publically. In order to keep this new trend of progress positive, there has been only an effort to "do the works and avoid the nonsense people as much as possible" mentioned one official. "Our efforts, in order to be successful must focus on the works and develop a comprehensive agenda which utilizes all the skills that we have available" says representative Ras Iadonis. Nevertheless, he went on to say that it is very difficult when many people have been disillusioned by fraud, violence and lies. "Our main intention at this time is to rebuild the foundations as it says in Isaiah 58", he said, "everything else is a distraction." Therefore, they declared that the sending of medical supplies, qualified medical support people and staff to help the Dr. Gladstone and the remaining settlers on the Shashamanne Land is the primary objective which is being quietly accomplished through direct negotiations and interventions with those interested in committing time and effort, even if it means leaving America and the West for 6 months to one year or more. Arrangements for travel, accomodations and other necessities are being made by sponsoring groups such as http://saviourculture.com and http://saveourculture.com and individuals are are utilizing their means, wealth and manpower to develop the land through the SLG Administration at home and abroad.
Similar news of other aspects of the works will be reported as the weeks and months go forward in an effort to "educate the masses" and show them that Rastafari people and Black People in general can overcome the so-called "problems" and "challenges" with "collective security" and a "respect for our own authority and accountability". That issue, the one of "accountability" is what has most disturbed Black People about their so-called "leaders" and public representatives. "We are not perfect yet", says another SLG official, "... yet thats why we are here.... to do better and work togather on these common goals for the common good of our endangered community".
Those who may be interested in helping the efforts now in progress are advised to link with the official land grant administration in Ethiopia and with the New York POAs that are involved in a "big idea.... the Afreekan New World Order" says Ras Iadonis Tafari after reporting on the progress since February 4th.
