Case mod

Here are some pics of the case mod I did on the puter of our son .
It's on an older ATX case . The couver is in just one piece as usual
back then . That's also why I had to cut the hole in the side myself ;-)
It's also not the most extreme mod you've seen , but I had great fun doing it !!




The 2 rows of red LED's are some sort of HHD monitor .
The lower row is known as a "HHD-Vu-meter"
and the upper row counts the pulses the HDD-LED normaly gets .
The reading of this counter is in BCD-code ;-) .








Yeah , I know .... The FDD is a bit yellow .
Amazing this old one from a 386 is still working in an AMD Athlon 2500+ XP ...
The only thing I fixed was the coloer of the LED ...
It has to be blue nowdays .... ;-)











That's all folks ...
But maybe in time I could add a tube amp behind the window ;-)
