D-Moinc II is the rebuilt version of the first bot built by Team Cerberus. Its weapon is an 18" spinning aluminum disk with three steel teeth spun by 2 EV Warrior motors (~1 HP a peice and 5000 rpms no load @ 24 volts). It is driven by 2 NPC gearkits (.7 HP geared down 4:1 with a 5"x2" rubber wheel) We are still using the IFI system and the Victor 883 speed controlers. The original welded mild steel square tubing frame has been kept but has been modified and fixed to allow the new motors and weapon. Our armor is steet dimond plate on the top and bottom, either stainless steel or aluminum dimond plate sides, and a titanium back plate. The wheels are places in the back of the robot for more stability with the new weapon. This also eliminated the nasty tendency the original D-Monic had to tilt forewards and backwards. The whole bot is powered by new versions of the same SLA batteries we used last time (12 volts, 12 AH, 2 in series) It should be a beast!
