SEGA GT 2002 Overview: Sega's follow up to the Dreamcast game Sega GT has made terrific use of the XBox. Sega GT is a racing simulation with lots of other little goodies. (i.e. Chronicle Mode.) GT offers up a wide array of cars from various times in the history of the automobile starting in the 60's with the MUSCLE Cars like the Camero when it was a true sports car, not like now. To the 70's and 80's with their respected cars to the muscle machines of today. Including The American Sports cars of today the Corvette and the Viper. I only wish the included the older Viper not just the new 2003 model. oh well. This game includes the worlds top car manufactuers like Dodge, Ford, Jaguar, Honda, and Chevy, just to name a few. With the creators adding in the abblity to listen to your own music on the built in HDD the music never has to get boring. Sega GT has you competing for various goals, Official races to gain licenses and the cool cars you unlock from beating certian ones. Event Races to gain money to build up your car with the many parts found in the parts shop, you also have the chance to win cars here. Drag Races Kick ASS. You have you garage to view the pictures you took and the trophies you won and a place to park your cars duh, and to put those goods that you've picked up in the used parts shop. You got the Parts Shop go here to tune your car to it's highest potential with the turbo or NA get your car running the drag in under 10 secs. My best time so far is a real low 9 secs. like 9.1 with a Ford lol. Still haven't unlocked the Viper. Then you got the Used Parts Shop i would not recommend buying parts here as they tend to brake only items i'd recommend buying is the "Goods" the "Videos" and tires aren't bad from here if your short on cash just don't buy like the muffler and other engine parts and if you check out cheat planet you'll find out how to get the nitrious for your turbo cars. Overall impressions: 8.5/10 Solid racing simulation game if you've been a fan of Gran Turismo and want to try another good racing simulation game here's your game if your not into racing games then why did you even read this review. |
