Madden 2004 Madden 2004 is quiet possibly the best football game ever made. Playmaker controls give a new edge to the game. The owner mode makes the franchise more entertaining. Online with madden is ok not outstanding maybe this is because its the only PS2 game I've played online and I'm used to XBox live. Something about the pausing and shit to type I don't know but I noticed rarely any lag which is great. This game really comes to life when played with others and you get those really close games that come down to the last second field goal. Or when you have a tournament going and some people make stupid mistakes like not knowing 5 secs left in 4th quarter not 3rd or not touching the ball on a kick off and letting the other player get the touchdown those where classics. Graphics - 9/10 Great animations and players really look good. Sound - 8/10 sounds is good but how could you really score bad here for it all u here are the hits but it lost some points because I just don't like maddens announcing. Difficulty - 8/10 Gets easy but still haven't played all madden so can't really give it a bad score here. Multiplayer - 10/10 This is where the game comes to live wouldn't you rather play with a friend instead of a stupid Comp. Replay - 8/10 Game has a good replay value at the time of this review I'm on my 6th season. Over All - 9/10 Great game if you like football games, if you don't have it you may just want to wait for 2005 cause that one comes out in a few months but this game is still worth the purchase. |
