Welcome To My Traffic Signal Photos Page!
Click on the Picture to see more of that signal.
My first piece is a poly (plastic) Econolite Combo with 12inch red and 8inch amber and green. It was an interesting story of how I got this light, it was June of 2003 and my grandparents were over and then my grandfather said he needed my help with something in the trunk, so I went to help him. When he opened the trunk there was the signal! I was really happy I spent the rest of the week cleaning it! The smaller picture is not my light, it is an Econolite Signal with an identical back, the picture shows the "bubble back" these signals have.
This is the second piece in my collection. It's a model 204 Solid State Flasher Pack, I was surprised when I got this because it was fresh from the box, these things are not cheap! I haven't put this flasher to use yet but if I get a beacon or a single section Light I will wire it up.
My third piece is a 12inch fiberoptic left turn arrow. Here is a slide show showing different angles and parts.
This is the fourth piece in my collection, an audible pedestrian signal. This is a newer model, you will see in the slide show that it was made in May of 1998. I was really lucky to get my hands on this one! These units have so many features its just incredible!

This model light is actually a trophy given to my grandfather when he retired. He gave it to me on Christmas eve 2001. This light has a very small solid state controller mounted inside the head. This light is 16 years old and the lights have never been changed! The green light is very hard to see, I can't make it any better, unfortunatly. This light is made out of a plastic case (for the top) and a metal pipe for the pole, the base is just wood. There is also an engraved plate at the bottom with my grandfathers name and retirement date on it.
This is my newest And most high tech traffic Signal! It's an L.E.D Eagle highway-head with cuttaway visors and a backplate.
Along with My L.E.D Eagle signal, I also got two identical Eagle L.E.D. pedestrian signals! (I drilled a hole in the top of one and mounted my audible pedestrian signal)
(sorry for the bad pic)
UPDATE! I gave one of these signals to my electronics teacher, along with my incandescent eagle highway head, (see below).
The is my largest signal, it's an Eagle I-Beam, with fiber-optic arrow, (the arrow in the pic is the one listed above, but i was unhappy with the light output so i replaced it with a newer fiber-optic arrow.)The left arrow is not lit in this pic, it's appears lit because of the sun phantom effect from my flash.
Finally, the last of the new additons (for now), is my Eagle incandescent Eagle Highway-Head.
UPDATE! this signal was given to my electronics teacher as mentioned before.
This is my first road sign, a retired stop sign. I got this signal from a neighbour just before he moved away. I really like this sign, I hangs proudly on the wall above my work table. If you notice in the pic, down in the lower right hand corner, there is a piece of a poly traffic signal. I sadly recieved TWO of these when I got my new traffic signals, they were on the end of some arms. I think it is a waste how some traffic signals are just snapped off the mounting hardware when removed.
This is one of my newer signals (recieved on December 3rd 2004) It is a incandescent poly pedestrian signal (made by Fortran) with round 12 inch hand and man lenses. (pics borrowed fro fortran's homepage)
Next is my second new addition (as of December 3rd 2004)It is a three section eagle durasig with 12 inch lenses. The signal also has L.E.D inserts and a metal backplate (like the L.E.D highway head). the pic below is not my signal, I hope to take some pics soon and maybe have some video clips.
