Reporter: What positions have you held in the past?
Uche: I was deputy Governot of this Hall last year.
Reporter: What makes Akpabio unique?
Uche: I believe its proximity to the girls hostel, has really had impact on it. Due to this, guys watch what they wear at each point in time due to the presence of girls. Also as a result of this, most rooms are refurbished to look good and pleasing.
Reporter:Give us the History of this Hostel please.
Uche:The Hall was named after the first Eastern Commissioner of Education in the then Eastern Nigeria. His name is Udoh Ibanga Akpabio. The hostel is one of the first fouyr hostels built.
Reporter: What problems have you and your government been facing since you assumed power?
Uche:Irregular water situation, electricty supply is underload, thereby not lighting the hostel fully. We also have the problem of understafiing of cleaners. Despite this we've done our best to keep the hostel clean. Sanitation is carried out every two weeks which is fully participated in.
Reporter: What have been your achievements so far in your administration?
Uche:They've been quite enormous. Entering into government without funds, we've managed to keep the toilets clean at all times. Apart from this, everyroom has a padlock. Sanitation as mentioned ealier is top on our agenda, as you can see the environment is clean. In order to achieve this we bought tools to help in the cleaning of our environment.
In addition to these, we subscribed for the DSTV which is part of entertaining the students.
Reporter:Who is your role model?
Uche:My role model is my mother and The Pope, John Paul.
Reporter:What are your hobbies and dislikes?
Uche:My hobby is soccer and I dislike dishonesty
Reporter:Who is your best friend?
Uche:My best friend is Chibuzor Okafor a Geology student in UNIZIK
Reporter:Who is your best lecturer?
Uche:My best lecturer is Mrs. F. N. Ibemesi (Foreign Languages)
