English in
our school is being studied in three strata. ( 7th , 8th
and 9th ).
Books used
this year are:
1.
Go for it - 7th grade.
2.
Travel through English - 8th grade.
3.
Flying Colors - 9th grade.
Note :
According to the new curriculum , these books are going to be changed next year.
The school
strives to dedicate the maximum hours for this subject. Thus:

hours for each class and stage are:
5 hours per
week .

Methods :
English
in our school is being taught according to the four domains of the new
curriculum. These domains are :
1.
Social interaction.
2.
Access to information.
3.
Presentation.
4.
Appreciation of Literature and Culture and Language .
So, for this
purpose, different styles, ways, techniques and tasks are being adopted and
demonstrated in our daily work.
The aim of
what mentioned above, is to encourage the development of positive self-image
among the pupils, by providing success oriented tasks
and positive
feedback.

Incorporate task-based activities.

Opportunities for peer interaction, such as pair and group work.

Give real-world opportunities to apply or adapt new knowledge.

Tasks which provide the pupils with opportunities for reflection,
self-evaluation and peer review.

Finally , we always keep in mind that the tasks chosen for our pupils
should be compatible with their level of proficiency.

school provides the pupils with opportunities to experience their knowledge
