For months, Lev Mergian listened patiently as Antic Bevy practiced in his family basement. Finally, after leaving his former band, Lev was invited to join AB as a guitarist. At first, Lev was worried that his musical styles might clash with those of his band mates, but he was amazed to see that they all blended in to help create Antic Bevy's melodic style.
Lev started guitar lessons at age six but quit after six months. Picking up the instrument again at twelve, he taught himself to play. Lev pours his heart into his music; although it results in many broken strings, it allows him to accomplish his trademark - fast and furious riffs with an aggressive punk rock flavor.
Lev's instrument of choice is an Epiphone Les Paul, amplified by the beefy Peavey Ultra Plus. His musical experiments include the tambourine, harmonica, jaw harp, kazoo and the African Kalimba. In his free time, Lev enjoys skatboarding, drawing, and wrestling (among the top in his area). At sixteen years old, Lev is ready to tell the world a powerful story through musical expression.
