Hey Candy Kain Brain ....
Hey hey, My name is Nathan Sizemore. I was born in Los Angeles on May 18, 1982. That makes me....ummmmm (counts fingers and toes).... 20!! I currently reside in Union, Ohio. Even though it is against popular believe, I am Straight Edge. I am like one of 5 people in Ohio that still is. Also, I AM NOT AN EMO KID. I like to consider myself Metal. I have a girlfriend named Megan who 'Made my cold black heart live' you could say. Well, I'm still a complete asshole who thinks on the pessimistic side but you catch my drift. Anyway, my first love is music. I have loved and been fasinated with music since I was 6 when I heard my very first record, Metallicas "Kill 'em All." Metal at it's best. I listen to music all the time. When I take a shower in the morning till I fall asleep at night, there is a CD or record playing. Some bands I listen to on a daily basis are (in no particular order except for this is how they are in my CD book. There probably thousands of others but this list is already going to be long enough.) New Found Glory, At The Gates, Sigur Ros, Jimmy Eat World, The Juliana Theory, Weezer, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Refused, AFI, Dashboard Confessional, Boy Sets Fire, Ben Folds, Tool, Dead Kennedys, Burnt By The Sun, Waking Kills The Dream, Piebald, Poison The Well, Tenacious D, The Anniversary, Catharsis, Newborn, Mogwai, Grade, Zao, ..and You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Slayer, Shadows Fall, Anal Cunt, Neurosis, Twelve Tribes, Drowningman, Isis, I Cried This Night, Tribes Of Neurot, Gameface, Taking Back Sunday, Simply Waiting, Son Of Sam, Radiohead, Rollins Bands, Snapcase, Student Rick, Red Roses For A Blue Lady, Skycamefalling, Pink (seriously), From Auttumn To Ashes, Further Seems Forever, Eyehategod, The Get Up Kids, Stephen Brodsky, Killswitch Engage, The Tea Party, Braid, Hey Mercedes, The Hives, Coheed And Cambria, As Friends Rust, Dead Blue Sky, The Movielife, Elliott, The Melvins, The Casket Lottery, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Eyes Upon Seperation, Reggie And The Full Effect, Iron Maiden, Shai Hulud, Thursday, Sponge, Overcast, American Nightmare, Coalesce, Candiria, Glassjaw, Last Place, Apparatus Engine, Rival Schools, and the almighty CANNIBAL CORPSE. There are ten bands that changed my life and views on music and they are the following:
1. Mike Patton- Everything from Mr Bungle and Faith No More to Tomahawk and his solo work. This man is a complete genius.
2. Saves The Day- I can't help but love a band who has a line like "besides, id rather forget the days we've spent than stay afloat in shallow water." These are the first punk/pop band I ever liked.
3. The Misfits- Enough said.
4. Cave In- How many bands can totally change there style and still be loved by hardcore kids? One, and its these guys.
5. Johnny Cash- Refer to #3.
6. Converge- These guys are probably the only band that has been around for more than 10 years that has stayed with the same sound while reinventing themselves with each release.
7. Alkaline Trio- I'm a sucker for the punk/pop bands with evil lyrics.
8. The Cure- I don't think it's possible not to like at least one Cure song.
9. Sunny Day Real Estate- First "emoish" band I ever heard. They are unbelieveably talented.
....and last but not least.....
10. Breaking Pangaea- What can I say, probably the most talented and nice guys I've ever meet. The lyrics are beautiful and the music rocks. I love them.
Anyway, back to what you're all here for..... me! I will have a picture as soon as I get someone to like let me use there scanner. I have the most metal job ever. I was dishes at a sports bar. All I do is stand around and listen to Converge all night and get paid for it. Can't beat that. Anyway, I'm sure you're all tired of my ramblings so I'll shut up.
