Falcon was going to see the prince and than to the light. He was a warrior who had been sent to Italy alone with no hope. He had hunted vampires and before he ended his existence he wanted to see something good. He was walking through the streets of Romania. While traveling home in the dark alleys children approached him they tried to look for change when suddenly a whistle flew through the air. They left him and suddenly colors exploded he heard the voice warning him of danger and felt her touch. Not knowing what she looked like he knew. Fighting with the street punks he began to feed almost lost when she came upon him again wanting to see he was okay she asked him what he was and saved him once again. Scared he ran away from him to her home.
Sara was scared of him seeing his bent figure feeding. She thought he was a vampire. After she relaxed a bit he showed up at her home. Not really seeing his face before she was amazed when she saw a face that she recognized from her dreams. The face that had kept her fears at bay. Thinking it a trap she tried to hurt him but found she couldn't. He asked her how she knew him and she explained. She had found a journal when she was 15. One that she somehow knew was for her and no one else. One that Falcon had written to his lifemate. When she touched things that were old she saw things and had seen his face as he had written it to the lifemate he would never know. Talking and sharing Sara accepted that Falcon was a Carpathian and that he would protect her from the vampire that was haunting her for 15 years. He was her salvation lifemate. Sara had wanted Falcon forever and accepted him because she had no other choice. Falcon was an ancient with power but his love for Sara let her chose and move at her pace!
