Here are more pictures of our vacation on Hilton Head. Enjoy!
We ate at a sushi restaurant one night. It's so
much better with fresh caught seafood!
One afternoon we drove down to the 'Toe' part
of Hilton Head Island and into the Seapines
section. It's a nature preserve and has a
historical lighthouse on the point.
The view down inside the lighthouse.
You could see the whole harbor from the top.
There were some REALLY big boats in port!
This is the shopping area around the lighthouse.
This boardwalk extends into the ocean to welcome
incoming yachts.
Mom and Dad at the top of the lighthouse.
They went biking every day, sometimes all the way
to the beach.
...For more swimming and splashing in the ocean!
Mary on her boogie board, catching waves.
Jonathan was, by far, the best boarder.
We went back to the Old Oyster Factory for
dinner one night.
Mom and Sam looked so pretty!
Mom and Dad wait for their supper.
Sammy and Hannah having a fabulous time.
Then the huge plates of seafood arrived...
...And Sam wasn't sure what to think of it all.
After dinner, we took a nice group picture
outside the restaurant.
We 'kids' investigated the hotel bar one night.
It was a bit overpriced, and the bartender was
a smidge overrun, but we had fun anyway.
In order to same a little money on food, we ate
at the condo a few nights. Jonathan and Mary
cooked grilled steaks and mac and cheese one night,
and Sam and Hannah made swordfish and chicken
kabobs another night. Fantastic!
On to more fun on the beach!
