Time slipped by
The constant clicking
Never ending rhythm
Forever in my mind
One blip in time
Passed me much more slowly
The clicking rhythm
For some reason stopped
Sour stomachs and tear filled eyes
The date that shall never die
Only life can pass away
That shall never happen again
This blip in time was tragic
The kind you see on film
One never stops to think
This could happen to me
Life stopped short
The young man died
Short lived life
Thanks to suicide
Symptoms noticed way before
Couldn't find a single cure
Caused a small chain reaction
Sick and twisted satisfaction
Another teen on a hosp. bed
This one not yet dead
Slim to none
She could get a second chance
It takes a while
But she did it
This girl got with it
Now she is living
Now she spends time thinking
About the constant clicking
The blip in time is over
Her life is far from that
