-- The Downfall is not just a band that formed overnight, they have gone through a lot of changes in the past few years and have done a lot of hard work to get where they are now.
-- The band is currently comprised of Drew (Vocals), Eddie (Bass), Jason (Guitar) and Mike (Drums). Jason and Mike have been together in other local bands such as Detox Idols and No Display. When they formed No Display they met up with Eddie, who became their bassist. After that band got them no where the three formed another band, The Downfall. After a few changes in members they enlisted Drew to sing. All four members bring there own unique flavor to create the heavy, energetic and sometimes emotional sound to the band. Since each member has different influences, they created their own style of music which is hard to compare to.
-- The band has been together since October 2001, and has progressed very far since then. They have been in the studio twice to record two seperate CD's, the latest in the Summer of 2002 named "No Snow in Perryman". Although they are from Aberdeen MD, they have played at several bars/clubs in the Baltimore area, including: Cafe Tatoo, Haldaddys, Brass Monkey, The Zu, Thunderdome and The Spotlight. They are always looking for new venues to play at, and want to promote their music in other states as well.
-- As long as the band sticks together and keeps progressing at the rate that they do, this will definately be a band to keep your eye on. Stay tuned! |
