Skate Parks of Florida

* parks i have expirience with

*Control Skatepark-2134 N.W. Miami ct. Miami, Fl 33127 -|- 305.576.9012
Pictures/Info/Website: Go to
www.controlskateboarding.com This is my current local park. It is awsome, you have to be pretty good at skating to enjoy it though. This is mainly full of hubbas, ramps, banks, and quarter pipes. Just get use to the skateboard and feel comfortable on it and don't be afraid to try new things and/or get hurt. I need to start doing that. It's a good park though.

*Vans Skatepark- 5220 International Drive, Orlando, Fl 32819 -|- 407.351.3881
Pictures/Info/Website: Go to http://www.vans.com/skateparkorg/orlando.html I've been to this skatepark, and it is absolutely fucking amazing! You will love it, I guarentee it. The site only has the hours, pricing, and disclaimer to print out and get signed by your parents. And if you 16 or older you only have to wear a helmet... but if your younger, then you have to get a consent form that doesn't require you to wear a helmet signed by your 'rents...

Skatepark of Tampa- 4215 East Columbus Drive, Tampa, FL 33605 -|- 813.621-6793
Pictures/Info/Website: Go to www.skateparkoftampa.com This site is amazing, not only does it show you everything that goes on around the park. But it also gives you information about hotels and stuff around it, and what's in it's shop!

Central Skatepark- 6140 Ulmerton Rd, Clearwater, Fl 33760 -|- 727.523.0785
Pictures/Info/Website: Go to www.skatecrate.com I don't have any expirience with this skatepark, or site. It looks really well made, and has some pictures of the street course.

Kona Skatepark- 8739 Kona Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32211 -|- 904.725.8770
Pictures/Info/Website: Go to www.konaskatepark/kona.com Whoah! This park looks very awsome. It is your basic concrete skate park. It was made in the 80's and has everything. A freestyle area, a snake run, a half pipe, and much more. Definately check this website out!!

Stone Edge Skatepark- 1848 S Ridgewood Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32119 -|- 386.761.1123
Pictures/Info/Website: Go to www.konaskatepark/stoneedge.com Well I don't know, there aren't many pictures. However this is a park that was made by the same people of kona. So it must be a good park. Well if you're ever in the area check it out.

I don't feel like putting all these parks down, since there are so many, and it would take to long.

Skate Spots I've Seen or Skated

* spots i have skated or seen first hand

*Dadeland Station: There are many things at dadeland station -|- a grass gap that spans from a 3-stair to a 7-stair length -|-
Address: Soon To Come...

*My House: Well my dad and I built these few pieces. I have a slider bar, low box, and a bank. The bank is sweet, and it all is so awsome when put together!

'Jew Rails': Well, I gurantee that you have seen these in a skate video, Dying to Live, Sorry, 411, Logic, and many more. Well they are in Miami, and I've seen these, but I haven't skated them... yet!
Address: Coral Way... I'll get the rest

Chris Coles BIO in zero's website

*Epiphany: This place is very good for beginners and intermediate skaters. It's very similiar to this 3-up 3-down spot I saw in a picture from San Fransisco. These stair are about the length of 4 stairs but the height of three. They are a pretty big 3-stair. Great to build your confidence. -|- There is also three benches about 2 -2 1/2 feet high that are already waxed up. -|- In between up the three and down there is about a 30-40 foot space, where you can manual, pull a quick trick, or build speed. It's a pretty cool pace to skate, and security is non-existant.

*Bayfront Park: Wow, there is only one way I can put this, it is the 'Love Park' of Miami, only smaller, but it is fabulous. There are waxed up benches, a stage with a four stair, 2 foot drop on one side, and 4 stair drop on the other. Then there is the 'Chalenger' memorial park. There is a 7 stair with a handrail and ledge, a five foot drop, the memorial it's self, and plenty of waxed up ledges. This place is absolutely fantastic, it is for everyone of every learning level, whether your just starting out, or you're pretty damn good.
Address: Downtown somewhere, I'll get the address sooner or later..
