If you would like to submit a rant yourself or submit responses, e-mail me here. This rant comes from a girl named "Sarah." She has much to say, so, please enjoy her opinions. As Americans, we have the obligation to ask ourselves how far is too far? To what extent do we let people abuse the privilege of stupidity? Do they really think lying in the street is going to solve anything? Perhaps it might entertain the police for awhile but after awhile, they lose their message. You really want to end the war? I'll tell you what to do, spend 35 years in politics, make sure your father is elected two terms before you and you should be in good shape. Come on, we're talking about our freedom leader, our president. Think about it he probably doesn't have anything more important to do and he wanted to revert to the days when he was a little boy, blowing things up. But back to my real issue here, the protesters that are anti-war. Since you can't change anything now, why are you disturbing the public? Standing the middle of an intersection? Blocking a major bridge? Let's try a noble idea. Try supporting the troops that simply signed up to defend our country and way of life. Causing more chaos is no way to show that you are against the violence. Sure our president went to war, I don't agree with what he did, but it is my obligation as an American to support my country and my defenders. With pride, Sarah |
