MTM! Here she is! Bronzed and forever Minneapolis. My friends told me that this is life-size. She must be a tiny person in person. She is at the corner of 7th and Nicolette (pronounced nic' let rhymes with chicklet) Oh...at the dedication the promoters tossed out 300 tams. No one I knew caught one. Well, that was because they didn't even go. Shame on them.
Remember the IDS building in the opening shot of the MTM show...this is it. Lou and Mary and the rest of the crew are at work upstairs.
Inside the IDS...this is the restaurant where she is having lunch. It is now a restaurant called Basil's. This vast atrium/foyer is stunningly beautiful...filled with soft, yet bright light.
Outside the IDS I spied this scene. A warbler and a cig butt. Such sadness.
