Inside the IDS they have this schematic of the skyway system. You can do the entire downtown and never go outside in the freezing North Country. Can you say artificial environment?
My pal Brant is a professional photographer and we both had our digitals so I challenged him to a contest for the best compostion. The rules were loose. This shot of the guts of a dismantled, dead skyway against the perfect blue windows of a new skyscraper was my first attempt.
This is one of the original skyways.
In this one I am going for an abstract compostion. I think I won because Brant took shots of these last two and well, mine were better...haha!
