Erudites can play as clerics, enchanters, magicians, necromancers, paladins or wizards. They have naturally high intelligence and wisdom which makes them well suited to be a spellcaster. They however lack infravision and have no special racial abilities which may make life hard in the early going. An erudites true calling is as necromancers. They do not take the faction hit of a dark elf and have stats that are very favorable to that class(though it's a toss up with the gnomes). The erudite continent is actually well suited for necromancers in the location of the guild and the fact that they won't really be KOS in many places. Another reason to choose to play an erudite necromancer is the fact that necromancers get the deadeye spell at level 8 which allows them to not only see invisible objects but also grants them infravision which makes up for erudite casters most glaring weakness.
