Another Pterosaur photo In Oct of 2003 a person taking a train ride took a photo of a pterosaur in flight. After the photo was taken this animal is described to descend down on an unsuspecting deer. Back To The Mounds, Comments: When I read story after story of the mound builders I was both fascinated and felt ripped off. Roman coins, to artifacts from Egypt. Is our depiction of history all wrong? Some of the skeletons beneath the mounds were so numerous that is was described as a mass graves. They ranged in size from seven to nine feet tall. Evidence suggests they mined copper and had a trade overseas. Did the Native Americans kill them off? Who were the ones with horns? These "raw" images are in fact being edited with simple graphics software Throughout all of this research, I have relied on the implied status of the "raw" images posted on the NASA/JPL site. Everyone is told that these images are received, looked over, and posted. This is contrary to the fact- these images are clearly being edited. These very recent images are blatantly chopped and altered and this raises the question "why". I am not advocating a conspiracy standpoint, but this will raise a lot of questions with people who do. Key to his research was a super-surveillance software called PROMIS, which was given to a crony of Ronald Reagan's as a pay off for the deliverance of $40 million to the Ayatollah Khomeini for the "October Surprise" -- holding on to the 52 American hostages in Iran until after Jimmy Carter lost the 1980 election. The crony profiteered from PROMIS (really owned by a company called Inslaw) by selling it to police agencies throughout the world for the purpose of tracking criminals and extrapolating their next moves. Feral House plans a new edition of the book The Octopus: Secret Government and the Death of Danny Casolaro. Casolaro's own notes - those that didn't disappear the night he died - provided the basis of the book, which I co-wrote with another celebrated conspiracy writer, Jim Keith. That first edition came out in 1996 and is now a bit of a collector's item, costing about $100 on Amazon if you can find a copy. Like all great conspiracy writers, Casolaro was dismissed as a paranoid crank. The book's existence as a kind of cult classic testifies to how cutting-edge parapolitical insight is pushed into an underground of the few who care to know. It's re-emergence now, however, has an eerie, although not unsurprising, parallel with events and people easily recognizable to the wider world. The Octopus, the real one, has returned just in time for the book. Example one: shortly after the Afghanistan war stories began circulating that Osama Bin Laden was using the PROMIS extrapolation function to avoid capture. According to these stories, it was given to him via a circuitous route from the Russians who got it from the famed turncoat spy Robert Hanssen. Example two: the June resignation of Paul Redmond, Assistant Secretary of Information Analysis for the US Homeland Security department. Described by some as a "legendary spy catcher" - he had a role in the capture of CIA traitor Aldrich Ames - Redmond officially resigned for "health reasons." Most took that as polite cover for Redmond's frustration with under-funding of the department, but others connected into to a rumored secret investigation Redmond was conducting of long-standing common interests between the Bush and bin Laden families and was forced to resign. Among the connections: PROMIS, also had been given to Saddam Hussein by the senior Bush in the early 1990s, and he too used it to avoid capture. Danny Casolaro had reported that Iraq was among the countries that originally purchased the software illegally. Example three: Casolaro had also written about John Poindexter, one of the few people convicted in the Iran-contra scandal, a trading-with-the-enemy affair that grew out of the October Surprise. An appeals court overturned his five 1990 felony convictions; however, and more recently Poindexter was appointed head of a new information technology unit of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Pentagon agency that developed the Internet. This new DARPA unit was called Total Information Awareness. Symbolized on its website and on a wall decoration in Poindexter's office by an eye over a pyramid - a tip of the hat that he worked for secret masters -- it's purpose was to further develop PROMIS-like software that could track every detail of every American citizen's life. In July, Poindexter was forced to resign from the administration when it was discovered that DARPA's TOI also was developing a futures trading market based on the prediction of terrorist events. Of course, a short-selling spree on the real market made a fortune for someone just after the destruction of the World Trade Towers, so someone was already pretty good at predicting terrorist events. Examples four and five: the central conspiracy that concerns even the major media now is the role of the Saudis in the 9/11 disasters. Casolaro had written about the al-Yamama aerospace contract umbrella that keeps US and British money flowing into Saudi Arabia. He focused on the career of arms merchant Adnan Khashoggi, who helped develop the contracts, and his partner, Manucher Ghorbanifar. Back in March, because of meetings Khashoggi set up with Bush defense adviser Richard Perle to privately profiteer from the still pending war in Iraq, Perle was also forced to resign. This month it has been reported that Pentagon underlings for the Undersecretary of Defense Douglas Feith, have been meeting with Manucher Ghorbanifar, unauthorized by Dubya, of course. The pattern of resignations is erupting around the edges of the Octopus entity that Casolaro began to delineate back in the late 80s/early 90s. The low-level, limited hangout resignations more or less shield the central creature from true exposure. The compliant press helps with that, of course, not having enough historical memory to see the pattern. The only memory it has of Danny Casolaro is that he had wacky conspiracy "theories". There is easy-to-get, even free, software that lets anybody spy on you, anytime you are on your computer. Last week, KNTV and MSNBC.com examined online infidelity and found Internet temptation is quietly on the rise. It turns out, so is the prevalence of spy software designed to catch a cheating lover. Virtually anyone with an e-mail inbox knows about the software, which is being aggressively hawked by spammers. Programs with names like “Email P.I.,” selling for as little as $50, promise to let a buyer peek over the shoulder of anyone, anywhere on the Internet, while he or she sits at the computer. Another such program, named “Internet Spy 2003,” says in its e-mail pitch “Investigate anybody-anytime!!” “Utilize these powerful Internet resources to locate people, run business investigations, find legal information, contact long lost friends or just snoop around,” says a Web site advertising the software. “Internet Spy” is an amazing tool that will help you find just about anything about anyone. You can use it in the privacy of your own home without anyone ever knowing, ... Don’t hire a private investigator. Do it yourself with Internet Spy.” Most spyware is simple. It digitally stores copies of everything that’s typed on a computer. Then, the information can be secretly e-mailed to the amateur spy at regular intervals. Monitoring software of all kinds continues to flood the Internet. Earlier this year, the Aberdeen Group said some 7,000 such programs were in circulation around the globe. But the term “spyware” is a bit controversial. Monitoring software runs the full spectrum from clearly illegal to relatively innocent marketing tools. At the sleazier end of the spectrum are silent hacker programs designed to work like wiretaps, stealing every credit card number and password a victim types. On the other end are so-called adware programs, which anonymously watch an Internet browser’s activity and display context-sensitive advertising. Adware companies bristle when they are lumped together with spyware designed to snoop on cheating spouses. It’s easy to understand why: Spyware software is alarmingly invasive. It can be slipped onto an unsuspecting victim’s computer disguised as a simple e-mail, or even a greeting card. Once installed, it is virtually undetectable by the naked eye. Insider “malklaka” posted the following request for information on the allplanets-hollow@yahoogroups.com This is going back a ways (late '70s/early '80s), but I'm hoping some other on the list are old enough to remember this, and provide an answer: it has bugged me for a long, long time... There was once (I'm not sure if he's still living) a musician named Isao Tomita (sp? I don't know...he was Japanese...spelling may not be correct for first name, though I know the last name is spelled correctly), who produced amazing music with a Moog Synthesizer. (He was one of the first to do so.) Tomita was a certified genius, having been tested at over 200 IQ. (I don't want to get into a debate about the relative value of IQ tests...suffice it to say that he was a bright boy, and an outstanding musician.) Tomita applied his knowledge of computers (I believe that is what he went to school for: computer science/programming) to music, allowing him to accomplish what no-one else could at the time. (Listen to some of his music, and you'll see what I mean: he was great!) His 2nd or 3rd album (yes, album: there were no CDs back then <G>) was called "The Bermuda Triangle", and a few of the titles were (this is where the post gets topical: trust me!) "The Earth: A Hollow Vessel" "Space Children in the Underground Kingdom of Agharta" And various other titles, ALL referring to the Hollow Earth! But that's not the strange part. After all, we have the modern rock group "Tesla" making albums with songs dedicated to Nikola Tesla. No big deal. But Tomita, being a computer programmer, encoded a hidden message onto each side of the "Bermuda Triangle" album. He did not say what it had to do with, but judging by the titles of the songs, one can only assume it had something to do with the Hollow Earth. The album cover/insert stated that the message had been encoded using a Japanese computer called the "MC-5", in a language called "Tarbel" (or was it "Tarbell"? I can't remember the spelling...). You can HEAR the occasional "squeal" tones of computer programming embedded into Tomita's electronic music...but I have never run into anyone who could de-code the message. (Not many Japanese MC-5s laying around that can de-code Tarbel!) If ANYONE out there is familiar with this album, and the encoded message, please clue me in. I had nearly forgotten about this issue, until I was doing some cleaning this past weekend, and ran across an old tape of that album.
