Happy New Year from the staff of The Hollow Earth Insider Research Report

As many of you know, I have finally completed my book, "The Secrets of Dellschau: The Sonora Aero Club & The Flying Machines of the 1800s."  I have spent the last several years on the project exclusively and pretty much ignoring my other areas of interest, in particularly my UFO-Hollow Earth studies.  With this New Year that all changes.  Cyber-Pulp/Houston publishing company will publish "The Secrets of Dellschau" in early summer.  Working with my co-writer P.G. "Pete" Navarro, who, by the way, is the hero of the story,  (I’m just the scribe) has been a highpoint in my life. After meeting Pete and hearing his story I knew that I had to put everything else aside, research details for a book, and then co-write this amazing story with this remarkable man.  His story was a story no paranormal researcher or writer could pass up, and I didn’t.  Even though it meant stopping my own research into the UFO - Hollow Earth Connection.
I’m very excited about "The Secrets of Dellschau," -- a true story of one man’s quest for knowledge and the strange story he uncovered.  I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed researching and co-writing it.

But now it’s time to return to my original project The UFO/Hollow Earth-Subterranean Worlds Connections.
My first step in this direction starts right here with those on this list. If you took the time to joint this list then, in my mind, you are very interested in the subject at hand … maybe as much as I am.  So to keep you and the others who are THAT interested I have a proposition. This is the first of an ongoing  "Insiders Reports" that I will be posting frequently to keep you updated --- such as new information I’ve added to the site along with an inside look as I research my next book, "Flying Saucers and Their Earthly Origins: A Possible Probability".  I will also post any interesting information I find during my research that I feel those on this list can use or might find interesting.
But I need your help.  Now this isn’t a must.  If you never contribute anything you are still welcome on the list.  But, I’m hoping that some of you will send me links and information that you find interesting or relevant so that I can pass it along to others.  Many of the best investigative articles in my old hard copy magazine came from tips from readers.  I can’t stress this enough.  I need your input!  Also, be sure and let me know if you want credit for your contributions, as I will not name you as a source without your permission.  Send any info to me at Crenshawdg@aol.com.  List as subject "Insider‘s Report."   Let’s share!!!  Also please … e-mail letting me know what you think of the articles and links I‘m sharing, or any area I‘m not looking into that you feel I should.  Thanks.  D.C.

Punctual Earth Baffles Expert Clock-Setters
Planet Not Lagging Since Before 1999

POSTED: 6:49 p.m. EST January 1, 2004
BOULDER, Colo. -- The Earth is spinning right on schedule for a fifth straight year, and that has scientists scratching their heads.
Experts generally agree the rate at which the Earth spins on its axis has slowed ever so slightly for millennia. To make the world's official time agree with where the Earth actually is, scientists in 1972 started adding a "leap second." For 28 years, scientists repeated the procedure, but in 1999, they discovered the Earth was no longer lagging behind.

Here’s an oldie but goody that is one of my favorites … if you’ve already seen this one, please feel free to enjoy it again.  This is from the November 1920 Popular Science Monthly:

"Will the ZR-1 Discover a Polar Paradise?
"Here is one of the most outstanding stories of scientific possibility ever published. Commander Green's exclusive article has all the pungency of romantic fiction; at the same time it is founded on scientific observations of a veteran arctic explorer, and corroborated by fascinating legends of the Eskimos. Not since the days of Columbus has any venture held such power of gripping the world's imagination as the proposed voyage of the ZR-1.
"In the issue of POPULAR SCIENCE MONTHLY for November, 1920, the prophesy was made that a "huge dirigible of the Zeppelin type will enable the explorer of the future to study the geography of the poles in a really scientific way." Now this promise is to be fulfilled in the projected transpolar flight of the new navy dirigible next summer. What will be the outcome?"
