Now that fall is here I need to turn my attention to my house. It might still be hot, but it is after Labor Day, right?
Here's my plan:
1. Paint the outside of my house. It is starting to peel! I'm doing it classic white. No tertiaries for me. I love white bed linens and white towels too.
2. Trim huge elm tree in backyard. Dead branches AND I don't like having the tallest tree in my neighborhood...lightning!
3. Remodel bathroom on main floor. MAJOR REDO!
4. Have wood floors on main floor polished.
And if I can...add two skylights upstairs.
And as work people do that stuff I will be putting all of my paintings on CDs. I don't even have images of the ones I sold last week.

Now it is November 1st. All of the redos/repairs and updates went so well that I am plunging forward and remodeling the entire upstairs. Here's the schematic:
Instead of having it just open psace, I will have two bedrooms, one with a balcony, and a full bath with a shower. I may give up decorating for Christmas this year. Starting Monday the work will begin. Hopefully it will be finished by midJanuary when I leave for my winter vacation.
All of this just came to me last night. I was ready to move when I figured out that I have everything I need right here...just like Dorothy and her ruby slippers! Who knew?
P.S. I am hunting for an electrician!
