Inadequate Theories against
the resurrection
Here, Josh McDowell provides refutations
for the swoon theory, which postulated that Jesus had merely fainted and was
taken from the cross before he died. The theft theory that claimed that Jesus'
body was stolen is also addressed and the Hallucination Theory, which
postulated that people who witnessed Christ’s post-resurrection appearances,
merely hallucinated is also refuted.
The argument that the women, and
subsequently everyone else that went to the wrong tomb is also addressed here
but since this is not evidence I will not dwell on this section.
