Navy Vets season opens tonight
Navy Vets hockey returns to Woodstock tonight.
The rebranded Jr. C team opens their regular season tonight with a 7:45 game against the Paris Mounties. The game is at the Woodstock Community Complex, Southwood Arena.
New team President, GM and Coach, Jeff Morrison says a portion of tonight's tickets sales will be going towards the "Hawkins' Family Foundation".
Morrison says fans should watch out for their all-rookie line of Chase Thornton, Kyle Morris and Christian Crossett, which could be exciting once they get settled in.
The Navy Vets have named 3rd year player Devon Young as the team's captain.
