BATTLE OF 59 RESUMES TONIGHT

NORWICH -- The battle of 59 will resume tonight when the Norwich Merchants host the Woodstock Navy Vets at 8 p.m. Norwich won the first and only game between the Oxford County rivals this season, blanking Woodstock 6-0 in September. The Merchants have yet to lose in regulation this season, going 15-0-1 though the first two months. Norwich has the rest of the weekend off.

While the Navy Vets' record of 2-11-3 isn't flattering, the team has played much better of late. In its last eight games, Woodstock is 2-4-2 and has improved its defensive play. The Navy Vets trail Paris by three points for fifth place in the Niagara west division and will face the Mounties Saturday in Paris
