Navy Vets upset New Hamburg

Chase Thornton scored an unassisted powerplay goal with just under 7 minutes left to give the Navy Vets an upset win over 2nd place New Hamburg Firebirds.

Travis Horvath scored the other 2 goals for the Vets before a season high 357 fans at Southwood Arena.

The victory pulls the Vets into a tie with Paris in the standings.
