The Wizard's Lair - Page 2

Okay, I've pretty much finished the storage/guard room. I'm quite happy with it, I was able to put a lot of detail into it.
Here's another view. You can see that one side is more or less dedicated to foodstuffs, and the other, bed and the woodpile. I hope to put a table on the left, for the guards to play the occaisional game of cards in their spare time.

"Spare time?" roars the wizard. "I'm paying for you to have spare time???"

I made the bed with two strips of dollhouse "lumber", braced with the equivalent of 3x3s underneath.

Then I took some fine necklace chain (only thing jewelery's good for on the whole ;-) and used dressmaker's pins cut to about ¼" long, poked through the first link and into each brace.

Then I did the same to affix the chains to the wall. I'm going to tone down the gold color on the chains...

This is the 4-cell prison under the wizard's lair.

Only two have doors yet (I ran out of square copper tubing).

I tried to suggest blood stains without going overboard...

I'll have to make some kind of latch, so it doesn't look like the icky green thing can just walk outa there!
