That was my chance to tell her I'm the one you're suppost to marry. But I couldn't because I gave up! Why did I give up?---Zac thought to himself. He felt something in his pocket and his eyes got bigger. He has been paying off money for a ring he had bought for Angel when he sees her again. It's not an engagement ring, but it's a promise ring. It's extremely nice for a promise ring and the diamond is a slight bigger that most. He took it out and looked at it. Angel, my heart belongs to you and only you, I will not give up on us. He then heard someone's footsteps on the bridge.
Tara walked into the park and was looking up at the sky. She heard someone screaming.
"Stop it no!" It was a guys voice and like he was defending himself. She was not the kind of person that just sits there and let's someone get hurt. She ran to a bridge type thing and saw a guy running off and then a guy laying face down in the pond.
"Oh my gosh." She hurriedly sat the cell phone on the bridge and then jumped off into the water. Tara got the body and pulled it on to land. She immediately tried to see if the person's heart was beating. It was real dark outside and there weren't really any lights.
"Wake-up! Can you hear me?" She hollered asking trying to see if the guy would wake-up. He was alive, but she realized that his life was in her hands. She did mouth to C.P.R. and then the person coughed up water and she leaned the him to his side. She ran on to the bridge and called 911.
"Hi! I need an ambulance at the park! We're by the bridge." She said trying to catch her back. "It's going to be okay, you're going to be fine!"
"I'm so cold." She hear the voice say very shakey.
"What happened?" The lady asked.
Tara started taking off her jacket and ringing it out. It started to snow.
"I think he got robbed and the guy attact him and pushed him over the bridge in the water. Then, I jumped in got him out and did C.P.R. I think he's got frost bite please hurry!" Tara exclaimed.
"They will be there shortly." The lady said and Tara hung up the phone.
"You are going to be just fine. Help is on its way.
Not even 5 minutes later the ambulance was there. They came out and put him an a strecher. He then passed out. They quickly brought him into the ambulance and Tara jumped in.
"May I ride with him?" Tara asked.
"Yes." They replied. She looked at the guy's face and immediately starting crying.
"Zac!" She screamed and started crying. "Oh my gosh!"
They started doing a lot of stuff to wake him up but he wouldn't. What they did do was get his whole body warm and so he doesn't have frost bite. They gave her a blanket to help warm her.
They got to the hospital and ran him to the emergency room. A nurse brought her a set of clothes under garments, clothes, socks, and shoes while they were washing hers. She started thinking. I need to get a hold of his family, but how? The hotel wouldn't tell me if they were there. Maybe, if I tell her to give them a messgae from Zac's Angel to go the the Washington Hospital, maybe they'll come.---Tara thought.
She called up every hotel and told them that. When Tara was half way through the list so heard people running down the hall.
"Are you Angel?" Taylor asked.
"Yes, Zac is in the emergency room." She told him.
"What happened to him?" Walker asked.
"Well, I really don't know what happened before. But all I know is that some guy somehow knocked him or something and then pushed him over the bridge into the pond." She told them.
"Who saved him?" Ike asked.
"I did, I pulled him out and did C.P.R." Tara replied.
"Were you meeting him there?" Natalie asked.
"No, I was just out for a walk trying to think and then I heard some guy screaming Stop and No. So I ran over there jumped over pulled him out and then did C.P.R. After that I called the ambulance and then when we got in I saw that it was Zac. I never meant for this to happen. I didn't want us to be together again like this." Tara started crying.
"If you jumped in and saved him, than why are your clothes dry?" Ike asked her.
"The hospital gave me dry clothes so I wouldn't be cold." She said and kept crying. Diana stood there looking at her.
"You are his gaurdian Angel." She smiled. "Thank you so much." Diana and Tara stood the the hallway hugging and crying for minutes which seemed like hours.
"Are you Zac's family?" The doctor asked.
"Yes," Walker replied.
"Zac is in a light acoma. The ex-rays say that everything is fine, but we are going to go in to make sure that everything is okay." The doctor told them. Tara fell down the floor indian style crying.
"Come on, sweety, let's go in the waiting room." Diana helped pick Tara up. Everyone sat in the waiting room and Tara was the only one that still had tears running down her cheeks.
"I'll be right back, I'm going down to the lobby to call my mom. Do y'all want me to bring you anything?" Tara asked them.
"We're fine." Walker told her.
She went to the lobby and told her mom what happened. Lainie decided to go down to the hospital to help give Tara support and meet his family.
Tara got back upstairs and told them her mom was coming.
"So what is your real name?" Diana smiled.
"Tara, but none of you can tell him. Not even while he is sleeping because he'll still be able to hear you." She told them and they all smiled.
"Now, you're a singer from what I understand." Taylor told her. Natalie was sitting beside him and she was okay with Tay asking her questions.
"Yeah," she smiled.
"What kind of music do you sing?" Walker asked.
"Opera type stuff." Tara replied.
"Really! Do you do competitions?" Diana asked.
"Yes, as a matter of fact, I won the National Voice Competition today." Tara said and looked at her hands.
"That's great! I bet you were excited!" Diana smiled.
"I was for a about an hour. Then, I realized that I felt empty and incomplete because I didn't have Zac and he is what really matters to me." She started to cry but kept on talking. "He means so much to me. It's crazy for people to hear that because we only met one time, but he is everything to me."
"That is so romantic." Natalie got kind of emotional.
"Ouch!" Natalie said taking deep breaths. "My water just broke!"
"What!" Taylor said looking at her.
