"He really does love you!" Lainie exclaimed as she was rocking Hunter back and forth.
"And I love him." She smiled. Zac was knocking on her door. "Hey."
"Hey," he looked down at his hands. "Well, I only have enough time to say bye and I love you."
"I love you." Tara told him and hugged him.
"I love you too. I'll call you tonight at your house." He said to her.
"Okay." She replied.
"Bye." He told her.
"Bye." They walked out into the hall and she leaned against the wall as they started kissing.
"Zac!" They heard Ike say from down the hall. Tara turned her head with a tear falling.
"I can't wait till we'll be together again." Zac told her holding her close and tight. He then walked away.
Months went by without them seeing each other. The days felt longer and more miserable being out of each other's sight. They wrote letters sending pictures, they talked on Instant Messenger, and talked on the phone every Sunday. They got close over communication. Tara had went on to the International Competition and won first place. Zac couldn't go because they had to sing for the President.
"Tara," Zac said nervous one Sunday. They had been a couple for 8 months now. "You know I love you. But this long distance relationship is too hard for me."
"Don't beat around the bush Zac, just tell me." Tara then said to him.
"I think we should break up for the time being." He told her.
"Alright." She sat there for a second.
"I love you so much, but I can't be in something serious right now with my career and all." He told her.
"Zac, I get the point. Good luck." Tara then hung up the phone.
For 5 months Tara cried herself to sleep every single night. But she realized that her life will go on and she will find the man she's suppost to marry. Of course, she will always love Zac, but she'll love someone just as much or more than she loved Zac.
Eight months after Zac broke up with Tara he was still crying himself to sleep regretting his decision he made. He knew that she was the best girl he would ever have and he pushed her away. Then, he finally, he put her in the back of his mind just thinking about her once a day and goes on with his life that she will not be apart of.
