[Top 10 Movies]

[1. Seven (Se7en)]

The best and scariest psychological thriller in my opinion.

[2. Three Kings]

One of the only war movies that uses unconventional ways of telling a story about war. The independent movie-type feel to it sets apart from any other mainstream I have ever seen. Plus the acting is top knotch and the script is excellent.

[3. The Sixth Sense]

It wasn't as scary as "Seven" but it had its moments. Haley Joel Osment is absolutely stunning and gives one of the most disturbed little kid performances since thta creepy kid in "The Shining". This movie proves how intelligent and realisitc a horror movie can feel without being ridiculously over-the-top.

[4. Airplane!]

Funniest movie ever made. Period.

[5. Toy Story]

Certainly the funniest and best kids movie ever made (In a close race with "The Lion King"). It was the first sign of the promising writing and directing that Pixar has shown throughout all of thier movies.

[6. Saving Private Ryan]

The first twenty minutes are possibly the most riveting and breathtaking twenty minutes you may ever experience in mainstream movies. The cast is superb and each actor (Tom Hanks, Barry Pepper, Tom Sizemore, Ed Burns, Vin Diesel, and Gio Ribisi) fits thier character to a T. Steven Spielberg proved with this movie that he is a directing God.

[7. Enemy of the State]

Will Smith's most underrated movie and performance. A fresh cast (Jon Voight, Gene Hackman, Seth Green, Jake Busey, Jack Black, and Barry Pepper), witty and intelligent writing, and fast-paced directing sets this apart from the other mindless schlock that Jerry Bruckhiemer has put his name on. And Will Smith doesn't even have mutter the word "Damn" a thousand times.

[8. The Shawshank Redemption]

Stephen King novels normally do not translate well on the big screen minus a few exceptions ("Stand By Me","The Green Mile","Pet Cemetary"). This is by far the best big screen adaptation featuring some of the best performances from Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. They share a great onscreen chemistry and at the end you end up caring more for the characters than you do for some of your friends.

[9. Wayne's World]

It wasn't overhyped like "Austin Powers" and didn't rely on all the sex jokes, but yet it still remains Mike Myers' funniest work to date. The chemistry between Dana Carvey and Mike make this movie the best buddy comedy and the extremely witty writing seals the deal.

[10. The Wedding Singer]

Adam Sandler's first stab at an attempt at some seriousness was surprisingly good. Possibly because the chemistry between Drew Barrymore and him is almost unmatchable. Add that with some of the usual, goofy Sandler-type sophmoric humor and it makes this one a step above his usual goof-off movies (Not that there's anything wrong with those.)
