To be honest, I don't know much about Willem Dafoe. Since recently seeing him in Spider-Man (an AMAZING movie), he's become one of my favourite actors (though he hasn't surpassed Harrison Ford :)but he's up there *S* He played my favourite character in "The English Patient"...unfortunatly, I didn't relize it was him until a few nights ago when I was looking up info about him. Of course I went and bought the movie :) He's an amazing actor...and he should have won the Oscar for best supporting actor when he was nominated a few years ago for the movie "Shadow of the Vampire" (another good movie).
I recently watched "Pavilion of Women". It was an excellent movie! I get the feeling it's not very well known though since I have told people about it and they say they have never heard of it before. Willem plays a priest named Andre. It's set in China in 1938 just before the war. Father Andre becomes the teacher to a child of a highclass Chinese family and the story unfolds :) It's one of the best movies I've ever seen and I highly recomend it to anyone :)
