In loving memory of my daddy

There are three things that will endure - faith, hope and love -
and the greatest of these is love.

I've learned a lot from my daddy and I will always be grateful for that.
The things he taught me have made me the person I am today.
He learned me to believe in myself and to have faith in all I do.
Looking at myself today, I know I am rather a self-confident lady,
so daddy: You've done a great job there !

Justice/righteousness was something he thought very important too.
That I would treat all human beings this way was obvious.
Whether people would treat me the same was something I only could hope for,
cause life is not always fair and justice will not always be done.
This has made me strong.

Never forget and always keep in mind that love,
not only for ourselves but for all living creatures
is the most important thing in life,
probably is the most important my daddy showed me.

My dad was a very special man
To some people he sometimes may have seem a little arrogant
and others thought him a bit authoritative,
but me, his daughter knew the real daddy was love !

No matter what, he always was there for us and helped us when needed.
Oké, he did give this fatherly advice now and again,
but probably that had to be done.
The important thing is that he was there !

Faith, hope and love, that's what I started with.
Now I will end with my dads words to me:

Believe in yourself
Hope justice will be done
Let love be your guide

Thank you so much sweet daddy, for these wise lessons !

I love you so much and will never forget..........

POPJE

These are the words I spoke at my dad's cremation.
