MIDDLESBROUGH - DOUBLE TROUBLE

Middlesbrough should be no walkover next season as Steve Mclaren has just strengthened his squad with the signing of Massimo Maccarone. The ex-Athletico-Madrid star opted for a move to England. Mclaren will want to see why he paid he 8.1 million for him, and he is keen to impress.

The spending does not stop there though as Steve is about to make a move for Juninho. Once a star for Middlesbrough has impressed again in the world cup and  he has decided that a move back to the North-East seems a good option as he is always welcome at the Riverside because the fans love him.

Steve Mclaren admitted he has been following the little brazilian for a while now and hopes to see him as a member of his squad shortly, and the way things are going, he will do just that.

Middlesbrough are strengthening all the time, and he hopes to have completed both signings soon, ready for pre-season and their opening game of the new campaign against Southampton at St Mary's.
