A bewildered USA were well beaten in this game, Poland proved themselves why they were worthy of a place in a the competition as they overcame USA as they won 3-1. A convincing win, considering that Dudek had been dropped. All credit to Poland as they don't go out of the competition empty handed.
The USA were lucky as they still qualify even losing to Poland. That result meant that Portugal have been knocked out of the competition and another surprise has taken place.
Poland deserved the win, with some great performances.
