Rai moves South

Raimond van Der Gouw has decided to move south after completing a move to West Ham United from Manchester United.

After making only 26 starts for Man Utd, he has decided to move to West Ham, he has decided also that it doesn't matter to be Glenn Roeder's 2nd choice, as he said that David James had recommended him to be his number 2.

The 39 year old passed a medical today (fri) and he says that he hopes to stay for a while, probably the rest of his career. He was happy to complete the move because West Ham are in the premiership next season.

He says that he is happy to move to Upton park, after seeing a lot of the bench at Old Trafford.
