Demonstration Against Police Brutality on Wednesday, Aug, 7, 2002
A demonstration against police brutality will be held from 4:30 p.m.
until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, at the Houston Police Department
headquarters, 1200 Travis. Speakers will include local residents who have
lost family members to police violence. The demonstration is being
organized by the October 22 Coalition to Stop Police Brutality, Repression,
and the Criminalization of a Generation; the Progressive Workers Organizing
Committee; La Resistencia; Corpus Justice; and Civilians Down. Please join
