Citan is a doctor who used to live in Solaris. After realizing that the ideas of the people there are not "right", he left Solaris and settled down on the land. However, Citan is in truth a spy who is working for the Heavenly Emperor Kain. He was assigned the task of monitoring Fei's growth and development, which pretty much explains why he stuck with Fei at the beginning of the game.
However, Citan will still stick with Fei and help him to save the world. Citan will be the one who constantly suggests the party's main strategies and actions. Initially, Citan uses his fists to attack the enemies. However, he would eventually switch to using a katana and would become much more powerful and prove to be an invaluable ally to Fei. Citan has a family on the land and his wife is Yui and his daughter's name is Midori.
