The Keller Police Department Explorer Post is very active the with the community they serve.  Explorers individually serve over 100 hours of community service every year.  Explorers are present at almost all city events, football games, and major business gatherings.  Explorers also participate in the Explorer patrol.

The Explorer Patrol is a new program that allows Explorers to patrol the city on foot and/or bike.  Explorers are assigned to areas where crime has increased or where there is a lot of pedestrian traffic (such as businesses or parks).  This program allows the Explorers to create better partnerships within the community while deterring crime.
