I haven't actually seen this show, so what I know is pretty generic. The guardian angels of the earth are disappearing. Why? No one knows. So the four Animal Gods, the Saint Beasts, must find the answer. These four - Seiryuu no Gou (Morikawa Toshiyuki), Suzaku no Rei (Miyate Kouki), Byakko no Gai (Yoshino Hiroyuki), and Genbu no Shin (Sakurai Takahiro) - get to go angel hunting. Whee!! Too bad their opponents are a couple of disgruntled angels they already know - Kirin no Yuda (Ishida Akira) and Houou no Ruka (Midorikawa Hikaru). Well, it's nor surprise to see Midorikawa-san voicing a bitter angel, after all. Earthian, anyone? But seriously, he has an amazing talent for making that slightly-bastard-like-but-still-kind-of-likable character. Or maybe it's just me...possible....
I do know there's a nice, gratuitous scene of Gou in the bath tub. ^_^ Very nice!! And they run into a pair of brothers, Ryusei no Kira (Sugita Tomokazu) and Fuge no Maya (Suzumura Kenichi).
