Here is the basics of "info BBB4" The Ships/Units/Planes/Sectors/Nukes have been modded quite substantially from the standard gamebase. Here are the basics of the mods (other than the obviousness of them being totally re-tech'd) : SHIPS: FRG/TT - firing ranges increased to 2 (from 1) SS/OE/OD - removed, these added micromanagement GS - added, with more speed and cheaper than PZ7 PT - torp removed. CAL - number of planes/choppers mod'd ECA - escort light carrier - added, with reduced capabilities, and fires a little at subs under it DD - has reduced firing range CAR - this is the supercarrier, it carries a lot of stuff, but cannot fit into a canal SH - hunts subs well BBC - is the super battleship with lots of firepower but it cannot fit into canal sectors. UNITS: SHP - shepherd unit added, but lower cost and less effectiveness than PZ7 SPY/COM - reduced costs for these units PONY - slightly better attack power than in PZ7 H1B - these engineers are homebound and don't have much strength MAR - low tech HAR - faster speed and more attack power PLANES: check att/def/ranges for things, as these have been mod'd to fit in new tech cycle. F3 - added Missiles - now within tech range HB - lots of load for carrying 'heavy things' Choppers - Buildable in the tech 60's Nukes: See for yourself, these puppies start at tech 70. Everyone will get some. Until you reach tech 74, all nukes will need to be delivered via HB. After that, some missiles will carry some nukes to their final destination. Sectors: ~/^/=/@/z - all hold 200 civs for max pop z - canal sector, allows ships to enter/exit/load/unload at 2+% = - BridgeSpans need tech 45 @ - Towers need tech 60 ~ - reduced mobility (was 0.4/0.2 now 0.3/0.1) l/t/r - not player designatable - this is a semi-fixed tech game (where you increase in tech by 3% per update) dust only in mountains, plains sectors produce oil. Commands: convert - converting enemy civs to UWs has been disabled. Your initial starting UW's have been removed. Batteries not included either. RTFM. |
