Kilan Dal

Kilan Dal is located south of Vorago and ESE (east-southeast) of Rylloc. This port-town is not as popular as Vorago, but it serves greatly. The walls are six stories up into the sky and about 4 meters thick. The main gate is at the West End of the city and opens up to a very interesting setting. The town is almost identical in lifestyle and architecture as Vorago, however the layout is much different. Upon entering the ten-foot wide gates of 4-meter height, the cobblestone road leads into a very rectangular area. This small 'square' leads to another acting as an 'elbow to a street heading southward. At this point is yet another gate identical to the first one. A tavern is located just to the left before the entrance, and to the right a person's house. Inside the gate, is a much larger square where a fountain resides in the middle of the street. This fountain, not quite as detailed as the one in Vorago, has a square stone basin that doubles as a resting place for wary passers-by. To the south is a Smithy and North, the tavern that could be entered from the other side of the gate.

Up the alleyway to the north on the left is another set of homes, up until reaching the north wall. Directly east, across the street is a drop in the road where a step-way leads downward to a hallway like path with no ceiling that leads to the military station. People may stable their horses here, and it also doubles as a jail. After passing this building up, one would find the actual stable and then another wall. After traveling down this wall, a person would reach a point where an alley forms off to the side leading back up toward the stables, but blocking off into a dead-end never quite making it to the station. Continuing along, one would find several homes up until they reach the docks. The docks sit part in the water and partially on dry land. Directly west of the port itself are homes lined in an order to fit the street layout, but also designed to keep right angles in the actual buildings themselves. On the west side of this are houses lining a wall that runs southeast, and to the north, is an alley, followed by another row of several homes right next to the smithy running in the east-west direction. To the far south of the town is a very large military building along with the diadem tower erected to nearly 8 stories to allow vision over the wall. Xenos Darkblaze himself specially constructed the diadem tower, along with many of the other diadem towers used as lookouts and patrolling. The on the other side of the military building with creates another gateway much like the first town and is over the path itself, is the central market majority of the markets and merchants are found. Many specialty shops are also found here, as well as more taverns as well.

All the people in this area have an open view of the sea, and one more ocean dock is found on this side of the central military building. There is also a central area where more houses are located here. The one major factor that differs between Vorago and Kilan Dal is that Vorago is very close to Waterson (NAL) and Dagora City off on the nearby Island. Currently Kilan Dal has very few trade routes, except for some making a stop along their way to or from Vorago. With the development of the lands, however and more countries coming into power and joining the Alliance, it is almost certain that Kilan Dal will serve possibly even greater as a port town than Vorago. Only time may tell.
