LEAGUE PARK
-Built in 1891 as the home of the National League's Cleveland Spiders. The Spiders played there until they folded in 1899
-Capacity: 9,000 at opening; 21,000 at closing
-Was the Indians home for weekday games only from 1931-46. They played Sunday and holiday games at Cleveland Municipal Stadium during those years.
First Blues regular season game (that was what the team was known as at the time): April 29, 1901 vs. Milwaukee Brewers (no relation to current franchise of that name). The Blues won 4-3.
First Indians playoff game: October 9, 1920 vs. Brooklyn Dodgers. The Indians won 5-1.
Last Indians regular season game: September 21, 1946 vs. Detroit Tigers. The Indians lost 5-3.
Last Indians playoff game: October 12, 1920 vs. Brooklyn Dodgers. The Indians won 3-0.
